內(nèi)容摘要：
The lecture introduces a new object-oriented language Logtalk for logical programming. The talk begins with introduction of the problems of the nowadays Prolog implementations, the ways of their overcoming, and how they can be implemented within an additional layer of object extensions. After the problem statement, we consider the programming language itself with simple code snippets. Examples of Logtalk application will be shown as well.
主講人介紹：
Dr. Evgeny Cherkashin graduated from Irkutsk State Technical University (nowadays, National Research Irkutsk Technical University) with specialization on Computer Science, namely, system engineer, in 1996. Since that time he participates in educational processes of a number of Irkutsk universities: Irkutsk State Technical University (Institute for Information Technologies and Data Analysis), Irkutsk State University (Institute for Mathematics and Informational Technologies, IMIT ISU), Irkutsk Transport University. My main occupation is in Matrosov Institute for System Dynamics and Control Theory of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences (ISDCT SB RAS). He prefers personal (relatively independent) scientific research on developing information technologies (IT) related to logical inference application, e.g., knowledge-based systems; natural language processing (a new field) and synthesis of program structures on the base of a declarative description represented in a general form, e.g. UML-2.4, SysML, BPMN-2.0, etc.
